2018 Rockin' Your Heart Cattlemen's Ball
January 2, 2018
The MonDak Area Stockgrowers, along with the Foundation for Community Care located in Sidney, Montana are excited to announce the 6th Annual Rockin' Your Heart Cattlemen's Ball, coming to the Richland County Event Center, Saturday, February 10th, 2018.
The goal of the Cattlemen's Ball is to increase awareness of the healthy benefits beef brings to a heart healthy diet, as well as the important economic contribution the beef industry brings to our part of the country. A serving of beef includes three important nutrients: Zinc, Iron & Protein, all which help promote muscle growth and strength, as well as transport oxygen through the blood, to the different cells. It is also important to remember that with any diet, eating in moderation is the key to success.
In the past years, through ticket sales, generous sponsors and a live auction, the Cattlemen's Ball event has been able to give back by purchasing: updated Heart Monitors for the ICU of the Sidney Health Center; a LUCUS, automatic CPR system for the Richland County Amblulance Service; and a LifePak15 automatic heart defibrillator & monitor for the Sidney Health Center Emergency Room.
Four hundred tickets are available and consistently every year, tickets have completely sold out in a matter of a few weeks! As a result of generous sponsorships by area businesses, ticket sales for the banquet, and proceeds from both the live auction and raffle drawings, the association netted about $40,000 during the event.
The headlining entertainment is Kyle Shobe & The Walk 'Em Boys. Since the formation of the group, the band has made appearances in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Arizona, California and South Carolina at conventions, fairs, trade shows and other events. The Walk 'Em Boys regularly keep the dance floor crowded as they combine original music with time-tested cover songs, ranging from the early days of country and rock music to more current-day genres, appealing to people of all ages. The group is comprised of talent from around central Montana.
